You will bring this content & research alive in the app, making it accessible to anyone with a smart phone.

About this role

With one engineer we built a React Native iOS and Android app that supports a community of over 30,000 and growing, been featured as App of The Day on the App Store, implemented a comprehensive tech and data stack that allows us to test, measure and learn very quickly and hosted a number of mentoring evenings for womxn in tech. You'll stay busy at Ferly working on the following:

• Shipping new features and product improvements weekly across the iOS and Android apps
• Improving the performance and stability of our apps e.g. improving the audio play time so our community don't have to wait even a second for the content they want
• Working closely with the whole product team to suggest and implement optimisations that will improve our focus metrics e.g. WAU's, #mins content consumed etc
• If design is your thing, you'll also have the autonomy to pull together quick prototypes of visual amendments, suggest UI enhancements e.g. animations and work closely with our designer to add moments of delight to the product
• If data is more your thing, you'll work closely with our Product Marketer and PM to monitor and analyse product metrics so that you can recommend quick and scrappy experiments

Your first 6 & 12 months

• Six months: Improve the stability and performance of both apps so we're ready to scale and ship payments - this is where the app will go from free to paid and the quality needs to be there to justify it.
